Leaf Chopper Compact

The Leaf Chopper Compact shreds crops, such as raspberries, tomatoes, eggplants, strawberries, cucumbers, peppers or raspberries.
The crop volume is reduced to approximately 20% of it’s origin. The machine works with tarps on which the crop is placed. It rolls up the canvas and pulls in the stems. The crop is then shredded or chopped, after which the crop waste is dumped into a container. The container can be emptied by a forklift. The Leaf Chopper Compact has a user friendly interface, is built according to the latest safety standards and has a capacity of 2.500-5.000 m2/hour (depending on the circumstances). It’s compact dimensions make the machine suitable for narrow situations.

John Deere air/liquid cooled four stroke diesel engine type 4045TF 280 (60 kW); Max. rotation speed of the engine is 2200 rpm; The engine is provided with engine protections (temperature, oil pressure, dynamo); The fuel consumption is ± 10 ltrs./hour at full use.

Import / Chopper -unit:
Supply of plants in the front of the Leaf Chopper; Import unit exists of a roll up mechanism; 45 cm width Chopper; Grinding unit Shred-capacity: ± 2500 – 5000 mtr.²/hour (depending on circumstances);

Undercarriage:
A two speed PT2000GL2CV1 caterpillar undercarriage provided with rubber tracks in order to avoid damaging p.e. concrete floors.

Controls / Hydraulics:
One hydraulic open system by means of variable load dependent (LS) 69 cc pump; One hydraulic block of the Danfoss PVG 32 type with 6 functions. The magnets are dependent on the demanded function, black/white or high proportional; The equipment is secured by emergency stops.
