Silage Covers

Silage covers protect the forage from air and water intrusion resulting in reduced dry matter losses and maximum feed freshness. Silage inoculants facilitate control of the fermentation process and help maintain a high nutritional value of the ensiled forage.

• Silage covers are very easy to use and do not require special equipment for their deployment.
• The sheet is made of 3 layer structure, black on one side and white on the other,
• The layout is done with the white side up and the black side down for the purpose of preventing solar overheating.
• The common thicknesses used are 150 and 200 microns and the common widths are 12 to 16 meters.
